There are two types of guys searching for sites like ThisVid right now. The first type just wants a fresh bookmark for the weekend. The second type panicked because a site they’ve used for years suddenly won’t load, or a friend told them their favorite tube got seized. If you’re in that second group, I have bad news and good news.
The bad news: this hunt is harder than it used to be. Motherless, which a lot of guys used alongside ThisVid, got taken offline for good in 2026. The good news: I went out and checked what’s actually alive right now, on the first day of October 2026, and built you a list of 10 sites like ThisVid that passed. Every site below was reachable the day I wrote this, every one has real gay content, and every one comes with the honest drawback its fans won’t tell you about.
No dead links. No recycled listicles from 2019. Let’s go.
Quick answer: the best sites like ThisVid in 2026 are xHamster Gay, Pornhub Gay, XVideos Gay, GayMaleTube and BoyFriendTV for big libraries, and GayForIt.eu, ManPorn.xxx, GayForFans, JustUsBoys and MyVidster for community and amateur content. ThisVid itself was still online on October 1, 2026.
Whatever hamsters have to do with porn (and who really cares) xHamster Gay is one of the best, most complete tube sites on the net. This website has more queer content than you know what to do with...
For the guys who landed here without context: ThisVid is a free tube site built entirely around user uploads. It’s not a studio site and it’s not an aggregator. Real people upload their own videos and their own collections, which is why so much of what’s on there can’t be found anywhere else. The ThisVid gay side is huge: gay and straight content live on the same domain, and the site splits both into public and private sections.
The features are what keep the community loyal. You get a proper profile, you can mark videos private, you can friend other members and share private videos with them, and there are playlists, photo albums and a community section on top. Last time I loaded the homepage, the counter sat above 2.6 million videos, with fresh uploads from that same morning. That’s a real, active library, not a cached corpse.
So, is ThisVid down?
Short answer: not when I checked. I loaded ThisVid directly on October 1, 2026, and it worked fine, uploads included. But I get why you’re asking. Uptime monitors briefly flagged the site around September 29, 2026, and there’s a long-running Reddit thread where users compare notes on the site refusing to load. The pattern in those reports is almost always the same: the site is up, but the reader’s own network, proxy or VPN is the thing choking the connection. So if ThisVid won’t open for you today, try a different connection before you bury it. The site itself isn’t the problem.
How I Picked These ThisVid Alternatives
You can find 50 “ThisVid alternatives” lists out there, and most of them are junk. They list whatever pays the biggest affiliate commission, they never test the links, and half the sites on them died years ago. I did this differently. Every site on this list had to pass three checks on the day I wrote it: the site loads, the gay section is real and active, and there’s an actual reason a ThisVid fan would stick around. Concretely, that meant loading each homepage myself, digging through the gay categories, looking for signs of fresh uploads, and only describing accounts, uploads and pricing where the site showed them to me directly.
Anything I couldn’t confirm got cut, and a couple of famous names didn’t survive. One of them is worth explaining, and I’ll get to it in the FAQ. I also gave every pick an honest drawback, because all of them have one. com/best-gay-porn-tube-sites”>best gay porn tube sites covers more ground than any single article can.
The Big Tube Sites Like ThisVid
These five sites like ThisVid are the heavyweights, and all of them are staples of my list of the best gay porn tube sites. Huge libraries, fast streaming, no nonsense. What they give up in small-community charm they pay back in volume.
1. xHamster Gay: The Giant With a Real Amateur Section
xHamster is one of the biggest tubes on the internet, and its dedicated gay hub is not an afterthought. The gay section is properly built, with its own categories for amateur, bear, daddy and bareback content, sorted by trending and weekly favorites. The amateur category is the part ThisVid fans care about: it’s deep, it’s refreshed constantly, and it mixes homemade uploads with studio stuff you can filter around. Accounts are free, and they unlock uploading, comments, playlists and subscriptions. The catch? You’re swimming in a huge crowd, so the cozy community vibe of ThisVid doesn’t exist here, and you’ll want an ad blocker to enjoy it properly. For the full breakdown, read my xHamster review.
2. Pornhub Gay: The Name Everyone Knows
Pornhub needs no introduction, and its gay section is one of the largest single libraries of gay content anywhere. Free, fast, and it plays nice with every device you own. The mix is more polished than ThisVid: verified performers, studio scenes and creator collabs sit next to genuine amateur uploads. A free account gets you playlists, likes and subscriptions, and Premium exists if you want the paid tier. The honest drawback is that the wild-west amateur energy got trimmed hard when uploads and moderation tightened up over the years. You also hit an age confirmation gate before anything plays, which is one extra click between you and your business. Great fallback, not a ThisVid replacement.
3. XVideos Gay: Ugly, Massive, Effective
XVideos is the least glamorous site on this list and one of the most visited websites in the world. The dedicated gay section is enormous, and it’s stacked with the kind of raw user uploads that made ThisVid famous: real bedrooms, real bodies, real amateur action. Everything streams free, accounts unlock uploads and saving, and the search finds almost anything if you type the right words. The drawbacks are just as clear. The design looks ancient, the ads are pushy, tags are a suggestion rather than a promise, and there’s basically no community layer. You come, you watch, you leave. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want.
4. GayMaleTube: The Clean Gay-Only Tube
GayMaleTube does one thing: gay porn, in a clean layout that loads fast and doesn’t pretend to be anything else. The library is a solid mix of studio scenes and amateur uploads, sorted in the usual ways with daily updates. For straight-to-the-point tube browsing it’s one of the more pleasant experiences on this list. Here’s the drawback I verified myself: the site blocks visitors from states that passed age-verification laws. When I checked, a connection routed through Indiana got a polite refusal page instead of porn. Depending on where you live and how you browse, that can lock you out entirely. If it works for you, bookmark it. If it doesn’t, that’s what the rest of this list is for.
5. BoyFriendTV: The Gay-Only Daily Fix
BoyFriendTV has been a go-to gay tube for years, and it’s still alive and updating daily. It’s gay-only, which means every thumbnail is on target and nothing in the menu is bait. The library leans amateur and full-length, with playlists, a photo section and enough sorting tools to keep a long session organized. Loyal users call it their default tube, and after you play with the filters for five minutes you’ll understand why. The honest drawback: the ad load is heavier than on the big-brand tubes, so an ad blocker moves from optional to mandatory. The site also sits behind aggressive bot protection, which is a good sign for the site and an occasional annoyance for you.
The Community and Amateur Sites Like ThisVid
ThisVid was never really about the videos. It was about the people. These five ThisVid alternatives are where the community energy lives in 2026.
Tubes sites seem to dominate the intertubes these days. Out of the approximately fifty-seven billion porn, maybe 25% are gay sites, and of those websites maybe two or three are okay at best and mos...
Of all the sites like ThisVid, GayForIt is the closest thing to its soul that’s still standing. It’s a gay-only community tube with more than 400,000 videos, built around member profiles, comments, likes and long-running collections that members have curated for years. Content runs from softcore to hardcore with a heavy amateur streak, and a premium tier exists if you want extras. Watching is free and the library rewards digging. The drawbacks are real: the interface looks like it hasn’t aged a day since the early 2010s, and uploading is gated behind a free account with an age check. If you miss the feeling of a gay site run by and for its members, start here.
7. ManPorn.xxx: The Familiar Setup, Gay Only
ManPorn runs on the same style of tube software ThisVid uses, and the resemblance is instant: newest, top rated, most popular, and a members-only private video section. It’s gay-only, the categories go deep on twinks, bears, Asian, retro and more, and there are playlists, photo albums and comment sections under every video. Watching is free, and a free account unlocks the interactive parts. The private section is the feature ThisVid refugees will appreciate most. The honest drawback: the library is much smaller than the big-brand tubes, and some clips are re-uploads you’ve already seen elsewhere. Among ThisVid alternatives, though, the bones are right.
8. GayForFans: When You Want Creator Content Free
GayForFans answers a different question: what if the content you want is locked behind an OnlyFans or JustForFans subscription? This site collects and streams thousands of gay videos from creators on those platforms, free, with no sign-up at all. I watched new scenes land while I was writing this article, so the pipeline is actively fed. Quality skews modern and HD, since most of it started life as premium content.
The drawbacks: there’s no uploading and no community, because it’s a consumption site, and creator content comes in free-to-stream form, which means your favorite guy’s full catalog still lives behind his own paywall. For a free taste of the creator economy, it works. com/2640/gayforfans”>GayForFans review for the deeper look.
9. JustUsBoys: The Message Board That Refused to Die
JustUsBoys calls itself the world’s largest gay message board, and the numbers back it up: millions of posts across forums covering free gay porn threads, bear culture, erotic stories, site reviews and general chat. It’s the oldest-school community on this list, and it’s still an active daily hangout where members share scenes, review sites and argue about everything. If what you loved about ThisVid was the social layer, this is your new home.
The catch is significant, though. The site now requires a registered account to view the adult content, and registration is strict: VPN off during signup, no disposable email addresses, and an active email on file. That friction keeps the community sane, but it also means you can’t lurk anonymously.
10. MyVidster: Build Your Own ThisVid
MyVidster is a curveball, but hear me out. It’s a social video bookmarking site where you collect videos from anywhere on the web into your own public or private collections, follow other collectors and comment on their picks. Its gay community is huge: users maintain massive gay collections that function like crowd-curated tubes, and some collectors have filled libraries with thousands of the exact amateur clips ThisVid fans love. Free to use, with premium options. The drawbacks: videos live on other sites, so links go dead over time, and the mix of regular and adult content means the family filter actually matters. It’s less a replacement and more a superpower. This is how you never lose a video again.
Quick Picks: Match the Site to What You Liked About ThisVid
Ten ThisVid alternatives is a lot. Here’s the shortcut version.
If you loved the homemade uploads: start with xHamster’s amateur category and XVideos. Both are flooded with fresh user content.
If you loved the private videos and friends system: ManPorn.xxx has the private section, and GayForIt has the member community.
If you loved the community vibe: JustUsBoys is the closest thing to a thriving gay porn forum left on the internet.
If you loved finding clips you can’t find anywhere else: MyVidster, where collectors do the hunting for you.
If you loved OnlyFans-style creator content but not the price: GayForFans.
If you just want the biggest library with the fewest surprises: Pornhub Gay.
One more tip before you pick. Sites like these change fast: domains get seized, uploads get switched off, whole regions get locked out. Bookmark this article instead of betting on a single site. When one of your two picks goes dark, come back, check the date at the top, and the list will be fresher than whatever your friend sent you.
FAQ: ThisVid Alternatives and the Site’s Current Status
Is ThisVid down right now?
Not as of October 1, 2026, when I loaded it and confirmed it works, uploads and all. Uptime monitors did briefly flag it around September 29, and Reddit users have documented loading problems that usually traced back to their own networks, proxies or VPNs rather than the site itself. If it won’t load for you, switch networks before assuming the worst.
Is ThisVid free, or do I need an account?
Watching is free. An account is only required for the interactive side: uploading videos, marking content private, friending other members and posting in the community section. That account system is exactly why the private-sharing culture on ThisVid exists, and why the sites that copy it feel familiar the moment you sign up.
What happened to Motherless?
It’s gone. Motherless was taken offline by Dutch authorities in 2026 following a major media investigation, and it never came back. That single event pushed a lot of users toward ThisVid and its alternatives, and it’s a reminder that any user-upload site can disappear overnight. Keep a list of backups, which is exactly what this article is.
Which of these sites like ThisVid is closest to the original?
ManPorn.xxx and GayForIt.eu. ManPorn mirrors the tube structure ThisVid runs on, private videos included, while GayForIt captures the member community feel with a big gay-only library. Neither one copies ThisVid’s exact private-friends system, but both come closer than any big-brand tube will.
Are these alternative sites safe to use?
Every site on this list is live, established and mainstream within its niche, but tube sites of any kind live on advertising, which means popups and redirects are part of the deal. Run an ad blocker, never reuse passwords from other accounts, and treat any site that asks you to verify your age by uploading your ID with healthy suspicion. Free porn should never cost you your identity.
The Final Word on ThisVid Alternatives
Here’s the state of play for sites like ThisVid in 2026. ThisVid is alive and still doing its thing, Motherless is a cautionary tale, and the sites that filled the gap are either giant tubes with deep amateur sections or community-driven sites that feel like the old internet. My advice is simple: pick two. One heavyweight from the big tube list for volume, one community site for the stuff you can’t find anywhere else. And when you want the wider map beyond these ten, my list of the best gay porn tube sites is the place to keep exploring, along with everything else waiting for you at MyGaySites.com. The list will change. Your bookmarks don’t have to.
MyGaySites is the gay porn obsessive behind MyGaySites.com. I test, review and rank the best gay porn sites out there, from premium studios and free tubes to live cams and niche fetish sites, so you never waste your time or money on the bad ones.
