The subreddit’s bio even has a typo in it that reads, “A place to post and view Men fucking. Men.” After a decade of running this subreddit, you’re telling me that the mods couldn’t find the time to fix that shit? Damn.

Plus, it should come as no surprise that the subreddit has no user flairs that help you narrow down the content. Instead, it’s somewhat of a Russian roulette about what porn you get. The only way to filter content is by top-rated, popular, and currently being discussed.

What I Like Most

Some of the content in the subreddit is awesome, and there is a lot of kickass gay porn to be enjoyed in here, ranging from rough ass fucking GIFs to classy pictures of gay orgies at the poolside. It’s just a fucking shame I can’t filter them!

Reddit.com/r/ManSex/ first started in 2013, meaning this decade-long-running subreddit is one of the more well-established communities currently out there.

There is also a decent level of user interactivity on the site. What I Don’t Like

Yep, I’m not letting this go. The overall design of this subreddit is fuckin’ awful, and it’s clear that the admins have put zero effort into making this a unique community, despite having over a decade to do so. I mean, even the easiest fixes, like the typo in the subreddit’s description, haven’t been fixed. All of this is despite the fact that the subreddit has three admins!

Gay porn is so diverse, and the range of content posted in this subreddit is no exception. Despite this, the mods have refused to add any form of user flair so that members can clearly mark their posts according to kinks and fetishes many gay men can relate to. This makes finding specific content of twinks, bears, bareback, etc., a nightmare!

Suggestions That I Have For Reddit.com/r/ManSex/

First things first, overhaul the design of the subreddit. You can easily create a cover photo on a free image editing site, and adding a profile picture is a no-brainer. Also, put some effort into the subreddit bio, fix the typo, and do more to explain what makes the subreddit worth joining!

Add some user flairs so that people can easily filter content based on what they’re looking for. The world is your oyster here, and you can add user flairs covering everything from BBC and Asian to twinks and bears. Doing so will add a unique edge to the community, and your members will be thankful.

Conclusion

Reddit.com/r/ManSex/ might be a well-established and long-running subreddit, but it’s very much small-scale. It is easily blown out of the sauna by rival gay subreddits who’ve put far more effort into creating a unique, brandable, and heavily active community.

This subreddit does have potential, but it needs to put more effort into its overall design and add some user flairs to help community members filter down content better. Until then, I’ll be sidestepping Reddit.com/r/ManSex/ for better-run and more active gay communities on Reddit.
