Like the rest of the internet, Reddit is a beautiful place. It's one of the few websites on the internet that I can absolutely get behind including the gay pages – and, as a straight man, I think that's quite a large compliment!

The platform is easy to understand, simple to use and allows members to create their own communities for whatever it is they like. Now, to make your own experience on Reddit – possibly the best site on the Internet for sharing porn – as convenient as possible, I've gone ahead and reviewed some of the best subreddits that are specifically catered to your queer wants and desires.

Of course, I will just point out that not all of the links here are exclusively gay. That said, I do think that most guys are totally okay with going into places that are supposed to be for women to swoon over celebrities. But if it's male appreciation on the menu, it should matter little who's dishing it out, right?

Since I'm at best a little sexually flexible, my recommendations might seem a little strange to some of you, but I'd say you should check out r/GaybrosGoneWild, r/BrosLikeUs, r/Sissies, and the ironically named r/TotallyStraight. Of course, that's only a sample of the fine subreddits which I've linked you to. There are literally dozens more worth checking out.

What kind of gay sex subreddits can I find on your list?

I strive only for the best and most popular but also for a diversity of content when I do a list like this. So, I can guarantee that all of these subreddits get lots of participation, have plenty of porn, and won’t ever leave you bored. Lady Boner GW – As confusing as the title might be, this subreddit features nothing but the truly hottest guys on the interwebs.

Massive Cock – Even if you aren’t into hung cock ramming you up the ass, I’m sure you think that big pricks are a pretty thing to look at. Rainbow – Being a general gay-themed Reddit page, there isn't a ton of porn, but some stuff you'll be interested in.

LGBT – This Reddit is a general queer-themed subreddit which has a mix of general and erotic material.

Gay – Though pretty damn generic, this subreddit focuses more on gay lifestyle stuff and doling out advice than porn. Honestly, it’s a textfest, but there is some clearly labeled NSFW stuff to look at.

LGBT Gone Wild – This subreddit is a general suppository…or rather, repository for general amateur gay porn.

Gaymers Gone Wild – Do you like playing games? The ones on television screens, of course, not the stupid ass mind fuckery that some faggots engage in. Anyway, if you do enjoy playing with plastic and flesh joysticks both, then you’ll love the gay gamer themed posts on this subreddit.

Bros Like Us – There’s is just something different about amateur porn. Well, clearly I have more than a little experience on Reddit and have sampled more than a little bit of the steamy stuff on these gay subreddits. But no, I don't really contribute much to the discussion, and I haven't posted any pics or clips of myself showing off my body.

However, as I’ve written before, I might consider that if there were enough demand and offered a sufficient amount of money I could make a few porn-y posts. If there are any petitions to see my goodies on any subreddit or anywhere else, let me know.

How do I create my own gay subreddit?

Fortunately, creating your very own gay subreddit is actually super easy these days. Not to say that it was ever very hard, but I think that adjusting to that forum’s formatting was a pain in the ass. But now that virtually everyone is copying it I suppose I’ve adjusted and the webmasters of that site have helped make that adjustment less painful.

Anyway, to make your own sub, simply login into Reddit once you have an account and go to the create section. From there it’s just an issue of following the directions on the screen. Start by coming up with a name for the page, but be sure to keep it short and memorable. As you’ve seen on this page, it can be as something as similar as “Penis” but I wouldn’t go with a name which is longer than four or five syllables. Unless perhaps it’s something that parodies something in pop culture or really stands out like “Gay Bros Gone Wild.” Keeping it as abbreviated as possible is important also because the name entered in that section will be part of the URL

Below that, you’re going to want to create a title which acts like a sort of friendly name for the subreddit or the official name since it’s not going to be incorporated into the URL. So, when picking this, I’d enter in the same name as the official name, just make sure that it’s spelled with proper spacing.

After that, enter in the description or what people are going to find there. In the sidebar, you should put in any additional information which you think people should know about your subreddit. For instance, a lot of Redditors want their page to be devoted to a single topic and not be clogged up by related but distracting posts. So, to cut down on that as well as reduce spam, they often direct people to post similar content on other subreddits by dropping links. For example, the GayBros subreddit asks that people who want to post general gay porn leave it on r/BrosLikeUs and specifically bisexual content on r/BiGoneWild.

Speaking of guiding people, don't forget to post the rules. In order to get a following and keep your new page from degenerating into chaos, be subject to infighting, filled with spam, and become rife with abuse, be sure to clearly spell out the rules. Not only will trolly boys and the occasional asshole not have an excuse for their behavior, but it'll be easier for any moderators that you attract to do their job. It's also helpful since the webmaster at Reddit has been known to quarantine (translation: shut down) entire communities in the past.

Furthermore, you should use unique font and formatting text to make your subreddit stand out. On top of that, I’d say it’s a good idea to add header images and bright colors fonts. Fortunately, Reddit makes this pretty easy with built-in tools. Finally, the final touch you should add to your subreddit would be to post a custom icon. You can design your own using software like Adobe Illustrator or, if you are as good at art as I am, you can get someone else to design one for you through sites like Upwork or Freelancer.
