I think that there's no more gay porn site than this one. Not only is it named Thegay.com, but it also has a logo in rainbow color. If you want an excellent example of creativity, this is it! I think it's pretty apparent that this place focuses only on gay porn, and I can tell you that there's a lot to see! Their entire collection is massive, with over 1.3 million videos, but today, we'll check out the amateur part of the site and see if those guys know how to fuck in front of the camera.

I'm not sure how long this site has been around, but it seems like it's been here a while. You can figure that out quickly after looking at the site's design. It just looks outdated, but it gets the job done. All you need are thumbnails, a couple of titles, and the essential categories or other sorting features. They have all of that, but it would hurt them to think about improving their site a bit because this looks like it was created ten or so years ago.

The last time I was here, I noticed that some videos were from other sites, but I'm pretty sure all of those sites are a part of the same network. Most of the videos seem to be from the Mrgay.com site, but I'm positive you'll find them from others as well. I wasn't going to waste my time looking for videos from other sites. The important thing is that there's plenty of shit to look at, so let's just dive in.

Massive video collection with over 290.000 videos

Some porn sites don't have an entire collection with so many videos, and this site has an amateur collection with hundreds of thousands of videos. I was impressed with the size of the collection, but hear me out. It seems like they stopped uploading new stuff ten months ago, which seems odd to me. That was some sort of a mistake, or they gave up on adding new videos. Either way, they already have a shit ton of videos, so it's safe to assume you'll have plenty of videos to look at, but before we make any decisions, other things should be discussed.

I honestly gave up on playing these videos. You must be wondering why someone would go through all the trouble of writing a review and not playing one video to see how it looks. Well, I tried, believe me, but I just couldn't fucking start the video. Every time I click on play, I get redirected to the new page. I tried four or five times and then finally gave up. I wish this was the case with only one video. You keep getting redirected to some spam site, and a new folder opens with what you were previously looking at. I'm trying to say that this is fucked up, and I would understand if someone would turn around and run as far from this site as possible!

You'd think that Ad Block helps here, but it doesn't. It's like it doesn't even exist. Every time you click on something, a new page opens, and the tab where your site was goes to some spam or cam site. For a place that has a shit ton of videos, they did a lousy job of making it functional. This might explain why they didn't add anything in the last ten months.

No need to use features

Hear me out on this one. If the site was working correctly, you would get a ton of help from using either of these features. However, it seems like you can't even start the video, so why even bother looking for something specific? They have the basic search that usually does the job for most porn lovers, but you'd have to know what to look for. The scenes don't seem to have any tags or are just not visible, so looking for something might go either way.

I'd recommend sorting the videos by rating, but what's the point? You can arrange them however you want, but the video still won't play. If you're impatient, your fist will go through the monitor before the video starts playing. Porn sites should make things easier for their users and not harder. This one didn't give a fuck about user experience, and it clearly shows!

It doesn't seem like there are many HD videos

This might be a little unfair of me to say because I can't test the quality, but thumbnail pictures are enough for me to decide. If a thumbnail picture looks like shit, I doubt the actual video will look better. Thumbnail pictures are usually better than the video quality because they represent the video, so if that sucks, the video must be even worse.

I decided to take a look at the most popular videos because why would anyone bother looking at the newest content? If the most popular videos look like shit, I'm afraid to see what the worst videos look like. I'd like to believe that there are some HD videos, but I have no idea how to find them. There's no HD filter; the only way to see HD videos is by going to that category. There are 80k HD videos in total, but how many of those are amateur ones? If you search for these two categories with the basic search, you will end up with 20k videos, but it just doesn't seem like some of those videos are HD.

One thing is sure, and that's that there are no 4K videos. You should be happy if you somehow come across a 1080p, so you see why I said what I said. Now that I think about it, I had such high hopes in the beginning, and look where that got me. I realized that this site is pure garbage. The only good thing about this site is its size, but what good does it when you can't even watch these videos? Unless they fix that problem, they will lose even more people.

As far as the extras go, there don't seem to be any. There's the download button in the bottom right corner, but guess what? It doesn't fucking work! You can keep clicking on it like a fucking idiot for a whole hour if you want, but it won't do shit. Let me make this easier to understand. Nothing works. You can keep clicking on anything you'd like, but nothing will happen, making this site completely useless!

I would usually check if the site works on the phone, but what's the point? If it's the same, that means it doesn't work. If it doesn't have as many issues, it still sucks because nothing I've seen so far impressed me other than the size of the collection. It's a shame because I saw some nice thumbnail pictures. There were plenty of threesomes, group scenes, blowjobs, and who knows what else. Things might take a turn for the good, and the site stops sucking so much, but until that happens, I stand by my words!

How can a site suck so much?

Don't be fooled like I was in the beginning. I thought I was in for a treat after seeing a collection of nearly 300k videos, but it turns out that's just one way of baiting you. It got my attention, but as it turns out, nothing works here. They could have ten times as many videos, but what's the point if you can't play them?

It might not seem like it, but they do have HD amateur videos. You can find them by using the basic search, but I'm not sure that some of those videos are actually in high definition. The thumbnail pictures suck, and you can't see the actual video, so what else am I supposed to think. Whenever you want to watch porn, you look for something that looks nice, and this isn't it. I wish that finding good videos was the only issue here. On top of not having many HD videos and not being able to play them without being redirected to the next tab, they have one major issue here that might be a dealbreaker.

You'd think that a collection of this size can't stop growing, right? Well, they stopped adding new stuff ten months ago. I don't know what the reason is, but I'm not surprised. If the site was this shitty back then, I'd understand if they just gave up and started making something else. It's just weird that a place that's a part of some network and has over a million videos stops making it better. I know that we are talking about free porn, but something just doesn't add up. Either way, fuck them for having such a shitty site!
