To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of vintage porn because it doesn't look the best. I'm aware that the resolution is low because the video was filmed probably before I was even born, but it's still unpleasant to look at some of these SD videos. Put yourself in my shoes. The Internet is filled with so many 4K or even better videos, and you have to watch something that's not even in 720p. The good thing is that people back then knew what they were doing, and the scenes looked quite realistic, so the quality of these videos makes up for the lack of high resolution.

Well, it's pretty obvious what this site has to offer. The name itself explains the type of videos they have, but that's not all. Thegay.porn has a colorful logo that made me think they have extra gay porn here. The logo is painted like a rainbow, making it something that represents the gay community the best. I like this small detail, but does that make this site good? Of course, it doesn't. That's why we need to see what they offer besides a few colorful things on the home page.

Before I even started talking about what this place has to offer, I knew there wouldn't be too many vintage gay videos. It's no secret that the porn industry has become a lot better lately and has started making a ton more videos than it used to a while ago. I watched an interview with some pornstar who made 30 videos in a month, so that kind of gives you an idea of how much porn is made every single day. Things didn't use to be like that in the last century, so 23k videos in the vintage category sound great after hearing the previous information.

Here's one example of what I meant. I saw a thumbnail video featuring a guy sucking a dick. You'd expect that you would find that video under the blowjob tag, but no! I've checked it out, and it had everything besides that one. I started wondering whether there was a blowjob tag at all, but that was a stupid thing to even think about. I haven't seen a porn site without it, so let's just forget this stupid moment of mine. The point is that scenes lack some important tags, which sucks!

Not all videos are from this site

I'm ashamed to admit that it took me a while to realize that not all of these videos come from this place. They marked videos in the bottom right corner, but who pays attention to such things? I only realized that after being redirected to some other site. I don't give a fuck about this as long as they keep bringing more stuff to the table. However, I don't like the part about being redirected nonstop!

You'd think that you would be safe from those pop-ups or getting redirected if you have the Ad Block addon, but no! It's not working properly on this site, so every time you click pretty much anywhere on the site, you will be redirected to the next tab, and the previous one will go to some spam site. I fucking hate that, especially when I look for something good to watch!

It goes without saying that there's no way of switching between resolutions. I honestly didn't even expect to find HD videos or an option that would at least let us choose between really low resolutions and low resolutions. I always admired people who had a thing for vintage porn because why the fuck does someone willingly torture himself by watching something that doesn't look. Wouldn't you like it more if you came across some fucking amazing video in this category? Of course, you would, but there's no way of that happening for a long time.

Obviously, I didn't play many of these videos while doing the review because no one has that much time to waste. I was scrolling through the collection and saw some pretty good and relatively new thumbnails, but once I opened those videos, they looked like shit. Small thumbnails might appear as HD, but once you put the video over the whole screen, you see that the quality isn't as good as it initially seemed.

From what I've seen, these videos look like pretty much any other gay videos, but just from a while ago. There are many guys who love getting their butts fucked, sucking dicks, jerking off cocks, and doing God knows what, but I haven't seen anything extreme here so far. The freakiest thing I've seen in a video was a guy giving a rim job, which isn't that stranger nowadays! If you want to see something much more extreme, you can give the basic search a shot and try looking up something besides vintage videos. However, since many of these videos don't include all tags that should clearly be there, you'll risk cutting the collection in half by just adding one more tag in your search.

Are you ready for the most disappointing thing about this site? There haven't been any new updates for 11 fucking months. I would be a lot more surprised if this was some sort of a modern design, but it's expected to find fewer updates in the vintage collection. However, there's no explanation for not adding anything for almost one year. I don't know their plan, but this won't help them get more viewers.

Since they clearly aren't adding more shit anymore, I won't even bother telling you what the update schedule is or was, but even if I wanted to, I couldn't. Take a look at how these videos are dated, and you will see what I'm talking about. A couple of the first pages have videos that were all added 11 months ago. With that said, I have no idea if they were adding a shit ton of them all at once or a couple of videos every day.

SD vintage collection that isn't getting bigger anymore

Since we are looking at vintage videos, a collection with over 20.000 videos is quite impressive, but don't get your hopes up just yet! Yes, a video collection of this size will keep you busy for a while if you enjoy watching SD videos from decades ago, but if you run out of things to watch, don't expect to find anything new. They stopped adding new scenes almost a year ago, which kind of sucks.

Obviously, these videos' quality isn't the best because they were made before smartphones were even a thing. Considering some of these videos were filmed in the last century, the resolution looks quite alright but compared to modern porn, it fucking sucks. I don't know about you, but I'm not a big fan of SD videos, and those big bushed guys used to ruck back then. I don't know who told them having so much hair down there looks good, but that someone was fucking wrong!

This collection gathered videos from a couple of sites and displayed them in one place. That's kind of nice of them because they made sure we get more videos, but here's the thing. Many of these videos are relatively short or duplicates. Even though there are plenty of full videos, you will also see some short videos that last under 10 minutes. I'm not saying that those videos look bad, but It's just not pleasant to watch some short video that doesn't show you the whole scene. They use that trick to force you to buy the complete version, but it won't work on me!
