Personally, I am not someone who has a big interest in reading news and stories related to random celebrities or random events, however, if that’s your thing then you should definitely check out cocktailsandcocktalk.com Do note that the site is not in text only as there are various images, gifs, and sometimes videos that will help you enhance your imagination.

First of all, I must say, while the name of the site sounded a bit confusing at first, it is actually quite interesting, unless you want to tell someone about it, then it might sound like one of the dumbest things that the other person is hearing.

Flashy design

While it is kind of nice to see a change in design compared to some other sites which provide adult content, and I use the term adult content very loosely as this site’s idea is the last thing to focus on porn and adult content, but there’s still some of it around to make it count.

The homepage looks like you would browse a local magazine in digital format, which means that there are plenty of titles, topics, and thumbnails for you to clickbait you into reading the articles. However, while the majority of the homepage is filled with various stories, the top of the page has a nice bar that will allow you to navigate the site.

Each button on the bar has a drop-down menu that will allow you to visit certain sections of the site to read stories related to some kind of genre. The homepage features everything that gets uploaded, and since not every section is updated daily, you might want to skip browsing the homepage unless you want to open your horizons.

Men candy section is a good as you think

If you are someone who enjoys watching celebrity males displaying their incredible bodies in front of the camera, then this section is definitely the one you should check out first. All topics here usually cover a certain celebrity’s shot from the TV show, movie, or from their private life where you can look at some incredible pictures of their almost completely naked bodies.

While not all topics here contain NSFW material, if the story has any, you will usually have to go into the story and find the link somewhere within the text, which might be a pain in the ass if you are browsing this section just to see some naked images of celebrities that show off their hard meat.

Some of the stories in this section can actually have quite an article behind them, that are actually quite interesting to read, however, the majority of the articles, if they can even be called like that, is just a couple of sentences long as this section mostly focuses on images, gifs, and very rarely videos of stunning dudes.

The Cocktalk section is strange

The second thing on the browsing menu is the Cocktalk section, and I honestly got exactly what I expected to get from a section with such a name. The first thing that you are going to find on the drop-down menu is the dating stories sub-section, and this is definitely the best part on the site.

You will be able to find all kinds of sex stories or dating stories from real life, and some of them are quite interesting to read. The length of the stories is very diverse, as sometimes the story is going to be so long that your finger will hurt from all the scrolling, and in other cases, you will not even get the option to scroll as the stories are just that short.

If you want to read something that you can tell your friends about while you are gossiping or story-telling, then this section is definitely perfect for you. Unfortunately, this section does have a very big downfall, and that is the part that the update rates are incredibly slow. By looking through the history, I noticed that a story sometimes comes a few times in a month, and sometimes it takes a few months.

Another interesting segment here is the “Gays overheard” section, where someone is going to update a list of images that contain text of some funny or rather strange one-liners. This section has been quite fun to read through, as some of the things I read seem quite unbelievable, but then again, the amount of people is quite big, so it shouldn’t be that big of a surprise.

The Lifestyle section is quite lame in my opinion

Every magazine or site that tends to cover all kinds of topics usually has a lifestyle section, and every time I just look at the most recent posts, the topics are always the same fucking topics that go in circles. You will always find some posts that try to give you advice how to make yourself beautiful with certain products, or by certain tips and tricks, however, in most cases, those articles are just big fucking ads.

While certain posts in this section do focus on the majority of bullshit I just mentioned, there are some interesting posts here and there, however, those posts are usually related to live upcoming events, and because this site has a few posts every month, you have much better chances to find out about a certain event somewhere else.

At least there’s some fun advice

The “Just for fun” section on this site is actually quite accurate, as there were some interesting posts that actually took some time to be written. For example, one of the latest articles at the time of this review covered some of the most offensive party games that you could play with your friends, which is actually brilliant, considering the fact that it takes people away from their screens.

In that particular article, I have discovered a lot of new and interesting ways of having fun, which was the whole point of this section. Of course, I also read a couple of other posts that had the same vibe to them, and I really enjoyed reading them all. Overall, if there’s a section on this site that I would definitely recommend, then it is certainly going to be this one.

Lastly, the entertainment section that might as well be called spam

If you remember reading a magazine that was covering hot topics and trends around the world, then you probably remember how shitty everything was, and how many unnecessary topics it had just to fill out the space. Well, that is exactly how I feel while looking at the “Entertainment” section of this site, as it wasn’t entertaining to me at all.

Sure, there were some posts about gay pornstars here and there, but overall, the topics focus on something that probably nobody gives a shit about or something that everyone already knows if they care about it to begin with. Topics like that are usually the ones where certain TV shows are being aired again, or where certain actors changed their looks for a particular role.

In some cases, there are posts that kind of indicate spoilers for certain shows and celebrities, and this is definitely something that can piss people off, so in general, it might just be me, but I really don’t recommend that you visit this part of the site.

There are various uploads every day

If there’s one thing that’s really good about this site, is that there is always going to be at least some new content every day. From what I have noticed, there are at least two stories posted on work days, and weekends rarely have new uploads.

However, the majority of topics that is posted is either recycled, maybe a bit outdated, or just plain boring. So, as I mentioned somewhere earlier in the review, it is a much better idea to stick to the sections that are in your interest, because the homepage is filled with all kind of shit that is probably a waste of time.

Overall, if you are a person who likes to read all kinds of stories about trends, current activities, celebrities, or even some kind of gossip, then cocktailsandcocktalk.com might be the site for you. Sure, it has some flaws, but just because it is not my cup of tea doesn’t mean that it’s completely bad, so if you think that the site has something which would entertain you, do check it out.
