If you like versatile porn actors, then you're going to love Rod Daily for sure. He's a muscular guy with a nice cock and a tight little ass that often gets fucked. Of course, you get to see him do the fucking as well, but personally, I prefer to see him as a bottom. He had the classic mid-to-late 2000s muscular studio porn look, which was brown hair, blue eyes, muscles, distinctive star tattoos, and he's around 5'11".
Personally, he's not my type, but honestly, if a guy knows how to fuck, I don't really care what he looks like. That said, he might just be your type. He is the typical guy you would see and be like, yep, I can see him doing porn. As for what made him stand out, I think it's his versatility. You never know if you're going to see him top or bottom, and whichever role he chose, he definitely did it in an amazing way.
That's what made him so popular as well. He has a bunch of videos on FapHouse, and if you would like to know more about him personally, you might as well stick the fuck around. Rod Daily is one of those guys you just won't be able to forget that easily, and that's because of his incredible cock-pleasing skills.
Who the fuck is Rod Daily?
Before we get into all the fucking, studios, awards, and everything else that actually makes Rod Daily interesting, I suppose we should get the boring shit out of the way first. You know the drill. Where was he born? How tall is he? What does he look like? All the information nobody came here specifically looking for, but I'm going to fucking tell you anyway.
Rod Daily was born on July 1, 1981, and is around 5'11". He's got brown hair, bright blue eyes, a muscular build, and some pretty recognizable star tattoos that make figuring out whether you've seen him before considerably easier. He's also openly bisexual and built most of his adult career performing with men.
And thankfully, figuring out his preferred role isn't another fucking research project. Rod was versatile throughout his career, meaning you don't have to choose between watching him top or bottom.
Depending on which part of his filmography you stumble into, you'll find plenty of both. He entered the professional industry around 2005, which means we're dealing with another guy whose career goes back to that wonderful era when pornstars still needed entire DVDs instead of a Twitter account and a fucking ring light.
That's the basic shit out of the way. Now we can actually get into how Rod Daily went from another muscular newcomer to somebody with dozens of credits, his own website, and some pretty recognizable studios attached to his name.
He can top just fine, but his bottom scenes really stand out
After checking out his content on FapHouse, I was pleasantly surprised to see him in all sorts of videos. One of the very first videos I saw was him getting railed in doggy style by two guys at the same time. Now, that was quite the experience. The very next video showed him and another guy sucking each other off, jerking each other off, and then fucking each other. That was also quite interesting.
But honestly, some of his best work is when he's a bottom, but that doesn't mean that you don't get to see him top. I've seen him top in plenty of videos, but it seems like his database on FapHouse mainly shows him as a bottom, with some exceptions, of course. I'm not sure which one he prefers. I never really did my research on this, but you get to choose whatever the fuck you prefer to watch instead, which is the whole fucking point.
He is usually shaved, currently bald, and loves to fuck in all sorts of ways. He also has a couple of interesting tattoos that make him easy to recognize, since he's not that much of a looker, if you ask me. But he does know how to fuck, and I think that's more important than anything else when it comes to porn.
RodDaily.com proved he had become more than just another performer
From what I could dig up, he started with Studio 2000 around 2005, then expanded into work associated with Jet Set Men and Falcon in particular. Now, I think he also developed a very substantial presence online, since by 2010, RodDaily.com was launched, which was obviously a website dedicated to his fucking.
And it was launched through Next Door Entertainment's Next Door Presents network, alongside performer sites for guys including Marcus Mojo, whom you already might have heard of. He is quite something as well. You might want to check him out too, considering I've also reviewed that guy.
Now, his website wasn't just something irrelevant that's not worth mentioning, and considering that I'm mentioning it, that's pretty much obvious. He stood out by being nominated for Gay Performer of the Year at the 2011 XBIZ Awards, showing how established he had become by then. Considering that he wasn't doing porn for that long and he still got the nomination, that's pretty freaking impressive.
I found around 60 acting credits, but if you start browsing deeper and deeper, you'll definitely find more. Not to mention that he has been in productions such as Piss Pigs, Kings of New York, The Psycho, and Jock Hole, and worked for Lucas Entertainment. He also received a 2010 Grabby nomination for Best Group Scene for Big Dick Society II: Dicktimized.
At least that's the information I was able to find online, but you might be able to find more of his shit in general, considering that some of the older stuff often gets left out or uncredited unless you visit the premium websites. Which I assume you are gonna do on FapHouse, but you should know that FapHouse doesn't hold all of his shit. It does hold a lot of it, though.
Rod Daily used his own experience to argue for safer practices
Unlike many other performers, there are a couple of things that make Rod stand out. In September 2013, Rod publicly announced that he had tested positive for HIV. This happened shortly after his then-partner, Cameron Bay, had also tested positive, and during a period of significant debate over health protocols in adult production.
Although it was mentioned that Rod used condoms in his professional gay scenes, it was later reported that the infections involved in that 2013 cluster occurred outside of professional sets. So one thing that we should learn from this is that he did not catch HIV while filming, but when you look this information up, the information you get back can be a bit skewed sometimes.
This is also why Rod became publicly involved in the debate around performer safety and even appeared alongside Bay at a press conference advocating for condom use on adult sets, saying that his own experience demonstrated that condoms work. But that's beside the point. I just thought that was an interesting piece of trivia.
Rod Daily left behind more than enough to explore
Overall, Rod Daily had a pretty impressive run. He entered the industry around 2005, worked his way through some major studios, eventually had his own website, and built up dozens of credits before stepping away from regular performing. For somebody whose career happened largely before the current creator-driven era of porn, he certainly left plenty behind.
I also think his versatility helped keep his catalog interesting. He wasn't somebody who appeared in exactly the same type of production over and over again, and working with so many different companies gave him plenty of opportunities to switch things up. That's particularly useful now because his FapHouse page functions more like an archive of his career than a page you're checking for brand-new releases.
Obviously, Rod's story also became considerably more serious toward the end of his active years. His HIV diagnosis and subsequent involvement in discussions about performer safety became an important part of his public story, but I don't think that should completely overshadow everything he'd already accomplished throughout his career.
At the end of the day, Rod Daily was around for years, became a recognizable name, worked with some major players in the industry, and left behind a sizable catalog. He might not be making new content anymore, but if you're only discovering him through FapHouse now, you've got plenty of catching up to fucking do. I think he’s definitely worth checking out, and if you need more suggestions, you always know where the fuck to find me. I’ve reviewed plenty of guys worth checking out.
