Everyone who considers themselves as a fan of manga should have already heard about mangago.me, and if this is your first time hearing about this site, then you are a fucking liar. There is no fucking way that a fan of manga would not know about this place, simply because this shit is lit, and it is definitely my heaven. I will be talking about the yaoi section of mangago.me, so be prepared to be amazed!

While I am sure that people who do not even know what yaoi and manga stand for, are probably not reading this review, but just in case there are any newbies around here, I will tell you all you need to know. Manga are Japanese comics that tend to be quite detailed and nicely drawn, while yaoi basically stands for gay.

However, you might also encounter shounen-ai manga, which are gay comics as well, but they are a bit different. While the yaoi manga will have a sexual encounter and everything tends to be detailed, the shounen-ai manga will just have an indication of such action or there will be nothing sexual at all.

When you visit the link, I have provided for you, you will immediately be sent to the mangago search page, where only the yaoi manga are actually listed. However, I want you to know that those are not the only types of manga that you have since mangago literally has everything! As you can fucking see, I really love this place, and that is simply due to a number of legit reasons.

Great categories, search options!

The site really cares about their viewers, as they provide many different ways to help you find whatever the fuck you might be into. The first shit you will probably notice when you visit the yaoi section is the tags that are listed. The best thing about those tags is probably that you can select a couple of them at the same time.

For example, if you love yaoi, but you prefer to have some kind of a historical and supernatural story, you can literally filter the search by those options, and that is quite fucking nice. Their tags cover all the basics within the manga world, and I will go over some terms a bit later since they did not really explain what is what to the beginners.

Before I start telling you about the content, I forgot to mention the fact that you are able to filter the search buy what you are not interested in as well. The first time you click on the presented tags you will get a green checkmark that means that you like what you selected, and the second click will make it red… I think you know how it functions by now.

Other than that, you have some options on top as well, you can list the full manga directory, only the completed manga, latest updates or all genres. You could also search by the manga by their name and author, and below that, you have some of the most used tags overall. I think that my favorite thing about this place is that they offer some manga that are premium, and you do not have to pay shit to view them!

Many unfamiliar terms for newbies

The doujinshi tag are basically manga that are showing a kinky story of an already existing anime, but those are often fan-drawn. Shoujo often presents a romantic story surrounding the school life; Yuri is Yaoi just opposite, aka lesbians, one-shot manga are the manga that are very short and get straight to the point.

Other than that, you have Bara, which are manga that are drawn by another man and not a woman. That is literally the biggest difference between Yaoi and Bara, both of them display a gay story, but Yaoi is drawn by a woman while Bara is drawn by a man. Their style is completely different, and I think the best way for you to know what the fuck I am talking about is to check out some manga and compare.

On the other hand, you have Ecchi which is like perverted manga, and smut that shows all kinds of details with the fucking scenes. The last two tags I have to mention are Josei that usually represents a very realistic romance, which is opposite to the shoujo manga, as well as the Seinen manga that are Japanese comics targeting young adult men, aka full of action, perverted and funny scenes.

If there are still some terms you do not understand, you should just fucking ask Google to help you instead, since now I shall tell you about the content that this wonderful place has to offer. Since I have read many yaoi manga, I can actually recommend some… I am a pro when it comes to this, so you can trust me!

Plenty of interesting yaoi manga

One of my all favorites is called ‘Doushitemo Furetakunai’ and it is a very cute manga of a straight dude who fell in love with his gay colleague who is not that good at showing his feelings due to the awful past he had. I will not reveal too much, just that there is a side story with another couple and a similar case in the manga, and it was really a joy to read.

While that manga was quite mild when it comes to the sex scenes, if you want another realistic story, you should read ‘Doggy Style’ and no, the name has nothing to do with the way they are fucking. It is basically a story about two punks who are causing a lot of trouble and fucking like bunnies, and the reason for the name of the manga is shown at the very end.

Now, if that is also not hardcore for you, then how about checking out ‘Ai Dano Koi Dano’ and many others that are actually much naughtier. The thing about the yaoi manga is that most of them are very naughty, and the people drawing these comics are not afraid to show you all kinds of dirty details. If you run into manga that are in color, those are usually Manhwa, which are Korean comics and not Japanese.

Regular updates and high-quality content

To make shit even better, they offer regular updates on many different manga, since these are not all finished series. Above the given tags, you also have an option to choose if you want the completed or ongoing manga, so if you do not want to end the story on a cliffhanger and have to wait another week for a new chapter, then just filter your search properly.

This should already be implied, but her, in case you forget I am here to remind you. There have been many times I have read manga, and I forgot to filter the search properly, and I ended up on a cliff-hanger… we all know just how frustrating that can be. Well, lucky for you, even that happens you will still be able to continue the manga, since as I have said they offer regular updates.

A great design and user-friendly features

Yet another thing I forgot to mention, is that their site really looks good. It offers a darker layout, and that makes the browsing much fucking easier. There are plenty of search options, so there is no way you will not find what you are searching for, unless you are into something extremely bizarre… then again, even then you might be able to find the weird crap on mangago.com.

Keep in mind that even if I love this site, as I have said many times by now, I am not reviewing this crap with a bias position, and I am not sugarcoating shit. I can’t help it if this place is so incredible since if it was not that good, I would not call it one of my favorite sites. There are a couple of things I did not mention, but I am leaving that for you to explore.

Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who just likes to read manga, since even if you were not into yaoi, there are still a lot of other shit you can enjoy. However, their yaoi section is quite addictive, and you will understand what the fuck I mean when you visit their site.
