I came across Carnal Plus this morning, and I was immediately intrigued. As a man whose whole life revolves around pornography, beating off, and getting laid, I’m all about that carnal desire. So after eating a bowl of Cap’n Crunch with a raging hard hard-on, I pulled up the site, expecting a whole lot of bare, naked flesh.

I got all the glistening skin I expected, but I guess I didn’t read the whole message because I really thought I’d be cranking it to naked ladies this morning. Well, it turns out CarnalPlus.com is a premium gay porn network with a bunch of sites under its umbrella. So if you’re a homo with an eye for bargains and a boner for boys, this might be exactly your cup of tea. But, of course, it’s always comforting to hear from an expert before busting out your wallet, so let’s take a look at what’s in store for you.

How Many Gay Sites Are We Talking Here?

The very first thing I notice about Carnal Plus is that it looks fucking nice. Even if you aren’t into hunky young guys, it’s hard not to appreciate the overall presentation. It’s clean, professional, polished, and absolutely filthy, all at the same time.

If you are into hunky boys, you’re in for an even bigger treat. The site’s got a ton of hot queer pornstars and amateurs. It’s mostly younger, twinkie-looking dudes, though; I see a few getting worked over by older men and big ol’ meatheads.

The CarnalPlus.com domain has only existed for about a year, but some of the sites included have been around longer. Maybe you’ve even whacked off to a few of them. I made my way to the CarnalPlus signup page to see how much it would cost to see the whole thing. And at thirty bucks a month, I was pleasantly surprised. That’s the same price you’d usually pay for one paysite, and they’re giving you a big-ass handful. The 3-month and yearly rates are even better deals, as usual on almost any paysite.

Then I looked a little closer. It turns out that’s the Carnal Plus Launch Special, which takes 50% off the regular price. Looking even closer, I saw the monthly membership automatically rebills at $58.84. Now that I realize it’s twice the cost of a standard paysite, the deal isn’t quite as exciting as it was. At the end of the day, though, sixty bones is still a lot less than what you’d shell out for ten premium memberships.

The sites are all active, too. Sometimes you sign up for the big networks with a couple of dozen sites on the list only to find that just a few are currently putting out new movies. CarnalPlus doesn’t have that problem, as you’ll see as soon as you hit the member’s area. In addition, all the content from all the sites is available in one place- so you can see the latest updates from everywhere.

And because there are so many sites, the release schedule is a little chaotic. Sometimes a few movies will come out across the network on the same day; other times, you have to wait a few days for a new video. Overall, though, you’re getting multiple updates per week across the Carnal Plus network. You can’t exactly set your watch to it, but you can beat off to fresh gay smut a few times every seven days.

I mentioned that some of these sites were live before they were part of CarnalPlus, and that’s apparent when you visit the entire video list. While the network may not have existed that long, the archive stretches back to 2009. That means a lot of collective time to build the collection. As of this writing, there are nearly 1600 movies in the pile. And if you read this in a couple of weeks, I’m sure they’ll have crossed the threshold.

I do have some bad news to report about the membership, though. Once I got inside, I poked around and started looking for some specific features. I found a Download button for the photosets that come with every release. Unfortunately, they don’t provide one for the movies, so you’re out of luck if you were hoping to save some MP4s for your permanent offline spank bank. It seemed like the trend of cutting out downloads was over for about a year, but I’ve seen more sites lately with no download setup. Goddamn, that shit’s annoying!

Okay, But How’s the Porno?

I figured I’d check out the latest release on CarnalPlus.com, a little something from Fun-Size Boys called Kai Chapter 2. As you might have guessed from the name, it’s part of a series, this one a continuation of the young black dude’s adventures with the studly white Dr. Wolf. It’s only ten minutes, which I’d complain about if Carnal Plus wasn’t dropping so many videos every week. But even with short scenes like this, it’s still an impressive amount of material.

The video streams smoothly at 1080p, opening with minimal buffering and a little montage of the events last time. They were in the doc’s office before, but this one starts with the duo on the couch together, cuddling, and comparing arm sizes. The lighting is great, and the editing flips cleanly between camera angles. We’ve got a couple of handsome dudes on an expensive-looking set getting their fuck on. Everything about it screams high-class and professional, and I can say the same about the other CarnalPlus movies I sampled. This is no half-ass amateur operation.

CarnalPlus.com does come with a higher price tag than most gay paysites, but you end up with a pretty solid wealth of material for the money. It’s a deep, deep archive of high-quality gay porno with plenty of new additions on the regular, with a nice variety of material under their various brands. The lack of downloads sucks, so keep that in mind if you were hoping to offset the price by filling up your external hard drive. Unfortunately, the only thing you’ll be filling up is your favorite silicone butthole.
