I have reviewed an enormous number of games at this point. Hundreds of them, I think, and at this point, I have begun to start to think that I have seen them all. I do not mean to say that to suggest that I am bored. Hardly! I love my job and being able to review hot games of sexy studs going at it, but after a while, it does seem like they all fit into the same series of narrow categories.

And that is particularly true of gay games.

But as the future progresses, the internet provides more and more wonderful things to discover. And so, one day, I discovered a Twitter user by the name of Unicorn. While scrolling through his feed, I found that he was posting his own impressive 3D erotic art. But one day, my notifications popped up with a notification that would surely pop your pants tend. He had been developing a name Dik Journey, and upon investigation, I knew that I had to do a review on this game.

Are we ready to go on a journey? Great, then let's learn about this exciting game.

The Graphics And Guys Are Goddamn Gorgeous

The first thing that got my attention was the game's graphics. Honestly, these visuals are the best that I have seen in any video game, gay or straight. The hair physics is pretty good. The simulation of sheen from sweat is even better. And the proportions of the character's body are at the height of human fitness but still realistic. Okay, technically, the dicks are damn big, even by porn standards, but I am sure that all of you are fine with that.

The creator, who goes by Unicorn, did such a good job. This title really could even compete with triple X triple-A titles; they are that good. As I got into this game, I noticed that it reminded me of super intricate interactive VR porn, only with a lot more game mechanics, but while getting to that.

Your starter character is Duncan Carpenter, a 22-year-old who clearly is based on Brian Kinney from the American Queer as Folk with a libido to match; just he is only much more muscly. As he advances the plot, an angel gifts him with the powers of a celestial knight to protect the realm and bring about a new peace. This, of course, requires him not only to battle monsters but also fuck a fine cadre of supporting guys all to unite the 5 Dik Crystals.

Given his dick obsession, he seems to me like an archaeologist who has found a bone that he wants to examine thoroughly. And if you were wondering, the sex sequences are totally steamy and completely uncut…in more ways than one. XD

Supporting characters include Jamison Avalon, who is a fine elf lad who does come off as being quite prim and proper. But as the quest goes on, he becomes your retainer and quite a horny one at that. It's like he used to work on a construction site mixing concrete, you know, making things hard.

Another one is a flute-playing Karnyx named Xander Hran, whose special power is to heal the sick, but not through meditation or by waving a magic wand. At least not one made of wood. To transfer injuries from others to himself, he has to wiggle around his own diving "rod" and heal people through sexual contact. Having seen cut scenes of the game, in my opinion, this character is particularly adept at wielding his musical instrument and playing with other characters' skin flutes.

Those are the first three main characters, but there are a few others and plenty of other guest characters who act as eye candy and enhance the story. To repeat a sentiment I brought up earlier, this game really is the video game version of interactive plot porn. But of course, we have to ask, "How does that gameplay stack up?"

The Gameplay Sure Is Great And Easy To Understand

To be honest, the gameplay seems familiar, but that is not a bad thing at all. That might seem like a contradiction, but it isn't. Think about a gay vegetarian. You know he still eats meat.

Anyway, the main game mechanic is a match-three with RPG elements. If you get the reference, think of the Puzzle Quest series. Basically, if you move a single crystal on a 7x8 board and match three or more colors, you'll be able to cast spells against a party of monsters. Of course, they can hit you back with their own attacks, so you'll have to watch your stamina and balance that with spells that are going to drain your magic points.

With each victory, you will collect, which you can use to upgrade your skills and abilities. This is important as the number, types, and potency of your enemies will increase, so improving your characters is vital. But given the depth of the heart-pounding gameplay, you'll have to

As you continue the quest to collect all of the Dik crystals, you'll also have to "conquer" a bunch of guys as well. This means you'll have to slowly seduce them using that whole floating hand guided by the mouse mechanic you've no doubt seen on most basic NSFW games. There is no real way to lose during these encounters, so feel free to take your time because there, as the action continues, you won't be able to cum back from the point of no return.

And that applies to you and your character, if you know what I mean.

Here Are The Types Of Gays This Game Will Respond To

Now, I suppose I should comment on what kind of guys will like this game. Clearly, gaymers will love it if they enjoy a mix of gameplay that integrates nicely with the plot. Even for people who are not devoted to playing a bunch of video games, this one will still attract casual players.

But to get a little raunchy about it, I'll switch gears and focus on what kind of guys are going to fap to this in-between gameplay scenes. For sure, muscle queens are going to worship this game because the guys are built like Adonises. For instance, you'll like to have a heavenly good time getting on with Ramiel or get your freak on with the demon-faced Inikka.

For all of you twink lovers, Xander Hran will blow your mind and almost certainly make you blow your load when you get to "conquer" him. When I first discovered Unikorn on Twitter, I found that he seemed to be a bit of a fan of furry freakiness. So, to please people in that community, there is also an interesting sex scene with a centaur.

I suppose that between the rock-solid gameplay, the dick-hardening sex scenes, and the enrapturing plot, just about every gay, bi, and lady interested in seeing dick will like this game.

You Do Not Need To Have A Super Robust Machine To Play This Game

As for what you are going to need to do, it is relatively simple. If you've got a Windows 7 or higher, you likely have a dual-core processor from Intel or AMD at 2.8 GHz, 8 GB RAM of memory, and a couple of Gigs of storage space. Your sound card should be DirectX-compatible. The only other thing you will need is a stable internet connection.

Sorry, for all of you Mac and Linux users, there is no version available. At least not yet. Then again, there are plenty of good emulators if you prefer Mac products, so that is an option.
