If you’ve been watching British gay porn for any amount of time, you’ve run into Eurocreme. It’s one of those names that keeps showing up in old DVD collections, on tube sites, and in the credits of performers who went on to become big names. So when I sat down to review it, I expected a classic British studio site with a big library of lads.
I was not disappointed, but Eurocreme is something different from what I expected.
While it is still very much British gay porn at its best, these days, it is also a front door to a massive network of gay sites. I will get this out of the way immediately, and that is that one membership gets access to the whole shebang, but there is also an interesting pricing system that I will discuss later on, too.
Over 860 videos with a studio that has gone quiet
Eurocreme itself hosts 867 videos, and that is a great number for a single site. A lot of them actually come from Eurocreme’s own productions, while the rest of the scenes are from European studios. Surprisingly, a lot of them are French, which is not really something you would expect from a premium British porn site. Well, that is because, as I said before, it is no longer just British porn, but more like a gateway to a whole universe that the European gay porn network Eurocreme is a part of.
Here’s the catch, and I’m not going to bury it. Eurocreme isn’t producing new content anymore. The homepage still has a “New gay porn on Eurocreme” section, and at first glance it looks like a site that’s alive and kicking. But once I dug through the dates, it was clear that nothing fresh has been added to Eurocreme in a while. Only the most recent videos don’t even show a date, so figuring out how long it’s been quiet is a guessing game.
That would be a dealbreaker on most sites. But on Eurocreme, it’s less of a disaster than it sounds, and the reason is the network, which I’ll get to in a second. Just know going in that if you only care about Eurocreme’s own scenes, you’re paying for a finished archive.
What I liked about the collection is how much variety it covers. Most of the content leans toward British twinks, but there’s plenty more mixed in. Jocks, muscle guys, regular lads next door, hairy daddies, and older, more experienced men who know exactly what they’re doing. A lot of the guys are uncut, which fans of British porn will appreciate.
If you are curious how wide the variety goes, the tag list shows it well enough. There are twinks, muscled, macho men, big cock, interracial, locker room, uniform, outdoor, orgy, toys, masturbating, bareback, straight guy, and my personal favorite tag, which is as British as you can get - skets, sneakers, sportswear. There is even a softcore tag for anyone who prefers to slow things down or tease themselves up before some hardcore British gay porn action.
Speaking of hardcore, most scenes fit this category. Some of them are solo, and some of them revolve around kink and fetish content here and there. Eurocreme itself mostly uses condoms, so if bareback is your thing, you’ll find more of it on the other sites in the network than on Eurocreme, as the tag has only 134 videos.
One account, 41 sites
Now for the part that really matters. Eurocreme is part of a network of 41 gay sites, which they call theaters, all operated from France. One account works across all of them, and the unlimited membership covers every single one. If you look at the whole library of videos you are getting access to, the numbers are really fucking impressive.
There are 33.025 videos from 1.551 studios, and the network claims around 150 new videos a month, or roughly 25 a week. I can’t promise all of that is unique, since some scenes show up on more than one site, but even with the overlap, it’s an enormous amount of porn for one membership.
I do want to point out that some of the other sites include Citebeur, Brett-Tyler, KinkyTwink, GayFrenchKiss, SketBoy, and VintageGayMovies, so you’re not just getting more of the same British lads. In my opinion, this giant network is what saves Eurocreme from being just another archive of videos that is not worth the premium fee.
A surprising amount of gay British porn for free
Something I didn’t expect is how much you can do before paying anything. Creating an account is free, and it gives you access to free video trailers on all 41 sites, plus a few full videos that are given away for free every week. It’s a nice way to get a feel for the content and the network before you commit.
The site itself is easy to get around. The layout is simple, with big thumbnails, and pages load quickly on both desktop and mobile. Hovering over a thumbnail gives you a preview, though it’s very short. They are more of a quick tease than a real look at the scene, but they will give you a good insight into whether it’s worth clicking or not. Throughout my browsing session, I didn’t run into any pop-ups or annoying banners either, which is a rare treat.
You can browse new videos and most popular videos on Eurocreme, or switch to new videos, top videos, and “videos you can’t miss” across the whole network. There is also a section with your recently watched videos, your rentals and purchases, and your favorites, and you can browse studios by popularity or from A to Z.
When I saw that there is also a DVD section, I cannot describe how old I felt, since I haven’t held a DVD in my hands for years. While these DVDs are not physical, and you can only watch them online, there are 424 of them on Eurocreme and around 3.400 across the network. Scenes from DVDs that have already been published are included in the membership, though not every scene from every DVD is online yet.
Still, there is something missing, despite how much content the network actually has. The first thing I want to point out is that a proper category section doesn’t exist, and while there are model pages, they don’t really offer anything useful. Tags are really your main tool for finding a specific kind of scene, and the model pages don’t tell you anything about the guys beyond the videos they’re in. For a site with this much history, that’s a real shame.
Quality drops the deeper you go
I know it is a bit unfair to shit on content that came out years ago, but it is still used in the advertisement of the platform, so I have to treat it like any other content on a premium platform. The quality is really all over the place, as there are videos that are worse than 720p quality, down to 240p even. Don’t expect anything in Full HD or 4K quality here, as Eurocreme is really showing its age.
When it comes to the player, it is decent. It does its job, and it can be resized to fit your screen, and newer videos let you pick between a few streaming speeds too. Each scene also comes with a small set of images, usually between 6 and 12. Unfortunately, they are quite small, and you can’t enlarge them, so they serve more as a preview of the video itself rather than its own content.
Let’s talk money
There are two ways that you can pay on Eurocreme, and they work completely differently from each other. Unlimited Access costs $39.99 a month and renews every 30 days until you cancel. It lets you stream as much as you want on all 41 theaters, which is great value considering the size of the network. However, it does come with a major limitation, which is that you cannot download anything. For that, you will have to go with the second payment option, which is tickets.
Tickets work like credits. They come in packs of 5 for $3, 10 for $6, 20 for $10, 50 for $20, or 100 for $30, so the bigger the pack, the more you save. Videos cost between 1 and 10 tickets each, and you can use them to rent a video for 7 days or, for most videos, download it to keep.
With that said, it can be difficult to have a final verdict when it comes to Eurocreme.
On one hand, the studio is not making any new content, but it is part of a huge network that offers a lot more than one would expect. While not every site in the network hits the British lad niche, considering that you can access over 33.000 videos with the monthly membership, I would say that it is a great deal, and that you should certainly check it out, especially if you love European gay productions.
